The actress began her acting career in the television industry in the mid 1990s, and was later seen in numerous films including The Woods, Blue Car Murder by Numbers Blood and Chocolate and The Anna Nicole Story. Bruckner began her acting career in 2001 at the age 11 of eleven. In 1999, she starred in The Bold and the Beautiful show on the daytime and also in various television pilots. Her mother tongue was Hungarian, and she regularly practiced it to remain in the loop. Bruckner was raised in California, Hollywood with a Hungarian mother and Russian father. The couple has separated. The paternal grandfather of Bruckner who was German has passed away. They came into contact in Hungary. They emigrated to the U.S. through an Italian refugee camp. She is the younger sister of two brothers and have two sisters.
